When the Evening Comes by Somaya Soliman
A vivid figurative painting of two closely drawn profiles, combining warm orange and yellow with dark hair, turquoise, and expressive pink passages.
Museum matte fine art print on thick archival paper.
Part of the Openframe curated collection. A select group of contemporary MENA artists presented to Western collectors through museum quality print production.
When the Evening Comes by Somaya Soliman captures two figures leaning toward one another within a closely framed composition. Warm orange and yellow faces meet against dark hair, while turquoise and pink blocks animate the background. Simplified features allow the pose and color relationships to carry the sense of affection.
Broad brushwork gives the surface energy without dispersing the focus of the encounter. The contrast between warm figures and cooler surroundings creates a strong visual presence, making the work a considered focal point for spaces that welcome figurative art and expressive color.
Each print is produced using carefully prepared high resolution files to preserve brush texture, tonal variation, and original color balance from the painting.
Printed on heavyweight matte fine art paper for a soft gallery grade finish that avoids glare and maintains detail under natural or interior lighting.
Suitable for collectors, bedrooms, living rooms, intimate hospitality interiors, and contemporary residential display.
