The Wings by Somaya Soliman
A bold symbolic composition of a blue winged figure beneath an orange sky, with feather-like marks and a richly patterned field of color below.
Museum matte fine art print on thick archival paper.
Part of the Openframe curated collection. A select group of contemporary MENA artists presented to Western collectors through museum quality print production.
The Wings by Somaya Soliman presents a blue figure with wings spread across a vivid orange background. Pink, pale blue, and yellow touches break through the darker wing forms, creating a rhythm of feather-like marks. Below, compact blocks of turquoise, violet, and green build a dreamlike setting.
The figure’s strong vertical presence is balanced by the wings’ broad horizontal reach. This clear structure gives the layered surface a focal point and lends the work associations with freedom and transformation. Its saturated palette brings an expansive, expressive character to contemporary interiors.
Each print is produced using carefully prepared high resolution files to preserve brush texture, tonal variation, and original color balance from the painting.
Printed on heavyweight matte fine art paper for a soft gallery grade finish that avoids glare and maintains detail under natural or interior lighting.
Suitable for collectors, living rooms, creative studios, statement hospitality spaces, and contemporary residential display.
